Well we are here. I lost track of time but the flight was much better than I anticipated. I think I was mentally prepared. The group will be posting pictures shortly, if not already. I've never seen so many cameras in one trip!
The group is very happy and upbeat. Accomodations are fantastic and our welcome day was outstanding. We had Tiger Meat Pies for lunch, did an 8 or so mile walking tour of the city from Hyde Park to the Harbor where the Sydney Operal House stands. Walked from there to the ferry landing and took a dusk tour of the harbor from there. Dinner was overlooking the harbor and eating kangaroo, which was outstanding.
While we have learned quite a bit so far this is a stand out for the books: Guess what Australian's call substitute teaching? CASUAL TEACHING!
More later. I have to figure the converter out for my hair dryer.
